Alevtina Mikhaleva
February 12, 1956 - October 9, 2026
Alevtina Mikhaleva was born on February 12, 1956, in Russia, to Victor and Maya Mikhaleva. She passed away on October 9, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Alevtina lived a full life, filled with love, adventure, friendship, and beautiful memories. She was a woman with a warm heart, a beautiful smile, and a special energy that made people feel happy just to be around her. She had a way of bringing sunshine into every room and making people feel welcome wherever she went.
Alevtina graduated from medical school in Russia and earned a master's degree in nursing. She worked in hospitals and private practice, dedicating herself to helping others. Later, she followed a new path and became an international tour guide, traveling to different countries and cities and sharing their history, culture, monuments, and beauty with her clients. She also worked as a manager in the hospitality industry at a hotel complex, where she built many wonderful relationships with colleagues and guests.
After becoming a legal resident of the United States, Alevtina made Stamford, Connecticut, her home. She continued her caring nature by working as a home attendant, helping others until her retirement. Throughout her life, whether in Russia or the United States, she was appreciated and respected by the many people she met along the way.
Alevtina had a gift for making lifelong friendships wherever life took her. Her friends remember her as kind, generous, loyal, and always ready to listen. She was someone people could turn to for comfort, advice, and an honest opinion. She was never afraid to speak her mind, and her honesty was part of what made her so special. She cared deeply about the people in her life and gave so much of herself to others.
Above all, Alevtina was a loving and devoted mother to her two daughters, Kseniya and Anastasia. They were her greatest treasures, and she loved them with all her heart. She gave them everything she could, always doing her best to care for them, support them, and make their lives better. She was not only their mother, but also their friend, and the love she gave them will remain with them forever.
Alevtina knew how to enjoy life and loved the little things that made each day special. She loved music, dancing, photography, fashion, makeup, cooking, and delicious food. She especially enjoyed painting and coloring, expressing her creativity through colors and beautiful images. She loved the beach and treasured spending time in Miami, Florida, where she could enjoy the sunshine, the ocean, and the peaceful feeling of being near the water.
Her favorite flowers were white lilies and white roses, beautiful and elegant flowers that will always be a special reminder of her. Alevtina had a generous spirit and a love for beauty, and she enjoyed sharing both with the people around her.
Losing Alevtina has left a deep emptiness in the hearts of her daughters, family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. We will miss her smile, her laughter, her warmth, her honesty, and the way she made ordinary moments feel special. Although our hearts are broken, we are grateful that she is no longer in pain and can finally rest peacefully.
Alevtina may no longer be physically with us, but her love, her spirit, and the memories she created will never disappear. She will live on in the hearts of her daughters, in the friendships she built, and in every life she touched.
Forever our sunshine. Forever loved. Forever in our hearts.
