Angelo Vincent Pellettiere, 82, of Stamford, passed away on October 29, 2026. Angelo was born on May 21, 1944, in the Bronx, NY, to the late Michael & Rita Pellettiere. His family later resided in Yonkers, New York. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965. Angelo went on to work as a truck driver for Atlantic Air Freight before joining Airborne Express, where he worked for 32 years. He retired in 2002 and later found a "retirement job" at Sterling Farms Golf Course and then also at EGB. Angelo met the love of his life, Debbie, back in 1974, and they later married in 1981. Angelo enjoyed practicing his faith, playing and watching sports, spending time with family, friends, and his grannies, and, of course, playing golf. Angelo is survived by his daughter, Gina Parham (James); son, Steven Pellettiere (Maryanne); daughter, Anna Tucker (Jason); and son, David Pellettiere. Also cherishing his memory are his sisters, Theresa Nuzzo (Sal) and Antonia Pellettiere (whose life partner, Jerry, predeceased her); his brothers, Michael Pellettiere (whose wife, Helyn, predeceased him); William Pellettiere (Michele), and Mickey Kelly (Marlene); his grandchildren, Anthony, Corniche, Amanda, Steven Jr., Jacob, Layla and Ravenna; and great-grandchildren, Nataly, Amiyah and Tevin Jr. He was a beloved uncle whose humor, laughter, and love made him so special to his 24 nieces, nephews and 27 great-nieces and nephews. Angelo will be remembered for his tremendous heart, his gift for making everyone who crossed his path feel special and the love he had for his family and friends. Once you met Angelo, you were a friend for life. In addition to his parents, Angelo was predeceased by his sister, Anne Roe. We will miss you every day, but find comfort in knowing that you are back with Mom for eternity.

Family and friends will be received on November 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank all of Angelo's doctors and Nurses, past and present, as well as the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team at the Tully Center, whose quick response, dedication, and exceptional care meant so much to all of us. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Stamford Hospital ICU team for the care and compassion he received." Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there is great love."
