Anthony Guarino

Anthony "Tony" Joseph Guarino, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away January 1, 2026. Anthony was born April 2, 1941, the son of the late Samuel and Virginia (Festo) Guarino. 

Anthony worked for many years at Communication Corporations and was one of the owners of Ichabod's in Norwalk. He also served in the National Guard.

Above all else, Anthony deeply loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

Anthony is survived by his siblings Chet Guarino, Sam Guarino (Judy) and Maria Stabile (Lou) as well as his nieces and nephews, Michael, Charlie (Anna), Sammy, Gina (Jeffrey) and Michelle (Keith); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler, CJ, Kayla, Dylan, Isabella and Madison. He also leaves behind aunts, many cousins, and dear friends.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT.
