Deborah "Debbie" Lee Watson‑Fusco, a lifelong resident of Stamford, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 71 years old.

Born on March 27, 1954, to Stella Watson‑Horton and Frank Watson, Debbie grew up in Stamford and devoted more than 20 years of her life serving the community through her work in food services for Stamford Public Schools. She was cherished for her warm heart, her creativity, and her love of crafting. Above all, Debbie will be remembered for her deep affection for her pets and her unwavering love for her family.

Debbie is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Joseph Fusco; her daughters Joanne Fusco, Danielle Fusco and her partner Nick McBroom, and Lisa DeSalvo and her husband Joe; and mother, Stella Watson‑Horton. She also leaves behind her six loving grandchildren; her sisters Carol Esposito (husband Joe) and Rose Socci (husband Dave); her sister‑in‑law Lu Ann Romanillo (husband John); and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father, Frank Watson, and her brother, Edward Watson.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Lacerenza Macari Funeral Home (8 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT), followed by a mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Church (37 Schulyer Ave, Stamford, CT) at 11:30 AM.
