Faik "Frank" Lluhani, 79, a resident of Stamford, Connecticut, passed away on January 14, 2026, in Stamford.

Faik was born on August 23, 1947, in Gjakovë, Kosovo, the beloved son of the late Nakije Stavileci Lluhani and the late Shani Lluhani. He graduated from college and proudly served his community through government work until 1985. Seeking better opportunities through determination and hard work, he later came to the United States, where he continued to build a life guided by strong values.

Faik enjoyed sports, especially soccer. He loved traveling and truly cherished gatherings with family and friends. Family was the most important part of his life, and he deeply valued time spent with those closest to him.

Faik is survived by his beloved wife, Luku, whose compassion, devotion, and selfless care meant so much to him. Even while facing her own health challenges, she continued to care for Faik with patience, dignity, and love. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering presence brought comfort not only to Faik, but to the entire family, for which they are profoundly grateful. He is also survived by his loving children and grandchildren, who adored him; his sisters and brother, whom he loved dearly; nieces and nephews  and many extended family members and friends.

Faik always reminded his family to enjoy life, often saying, "Life is very short, but beautiful." He believed strongly in hard work, honesty, and kindness, teaching that with dedication and integrity, anything in life can be achieved.

His love, wisdom, and guidance will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held on January 24, 2026 at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, 230 Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, CT

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an after glow of smiles when day is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done.
