Gloria J. Trivelli

Gloria (Cerulli) Trivelli, a longtime resident of Stamford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026 at the age of 94. A longtime Stamford resident, she was born on March 24, 1932, to the late Antoinette and Michael Cerulli, Sr.

Known affectionately as "Glo," Gloria was a loving wife, mother, sister, cousin, and friend. Holidays at her house were special for the company and her legendary meatballs. After raising her children, Gloria began a second career at the City of Stamford and retired at the age of 77. An avid reader, she also loved solving crossword puzzles and re-watching her favorite movies, especially those in black and white. She was open to learning new things, trying new foods and making new friends. Direct and outspoken, you never had to guess her opinion on any subject or doubt her love and support for those she held dear.

Gloria was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Trivelli; her parents, Antoinette and Michael Cerulli, Sr.; and her brother, Michael Cerulli, Jr. She is survived by her loving children: her son Brian Trivelli and his wife Theresa Reed; her daughter Karen Cammarota and her husband John Cammarota. Gloria also leaves behind her cherished grandson Michael Cammarota; Arianna Davis, whom Brian and his late wife Kim lovingly raised; her devoted brother Anthony Cerulli, Sr.; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on June 27, 2026, from 9-11 AM at Lacerenza-Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue in Stamford. Burial will follow immediately at Fairfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
