Heidi Hinders Perrone

Heidi Hinders Perrone, born and raised in Stamford, Ct., passed away on June 20, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT., following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 54 years old.

Heidi was the daughter of the late Joyce Burch and stepdaughter of David Leon Burch of Norwalk, CT. She graduated from Westhill High School in 1989, and studied at Le Moyne College in Syracuse NY. She then pursued a career in the culinary arts while caring for her grandmother, Emily Lupinacci, until her death at age 97 in 2006. She spent a decade living in San Diego, California cooking and enjoying the beach with her beloved friends from Stamford.

Heidi is survived by a cousin, Joseph (Skip) Giancola and his wife, Dianne, two nieces, Kelly Louise Mead and Katie Lee McGrath, and her extended family of friends and canines.

Heidi was passionate about her friendships, her dogs, music and life. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and their children, all of whom will miss her laughter, her cooking, her unique sense of humor and her zest for life.

Devoted friends of Heidi would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital and its Palliative Care and Hospice Team for their expertise and gentle care.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, August 30th at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford CT., from 12pm - 3pm., followed by a celebration of her life at Casey's Tavern, 85 Woodside Street, Stamford at 4 pm.
