Marie C. Capoli

Marie C. Rich Capoli, 96 of Stamford CT passed away on Friday, April 24th after a long illness surrounded by family. Marie was born on November 6, 1929, in Stamford to the late Auriello & Angelina Rich. Marie had worked for Baldwin Aviation and retired after 30 years.

After a lifetime of love, laughter and adventure, Marie & her late husband Gus enjoyed time with family and friends, weather entertaining poolside, sailing on the boat, "GOOMER", a beloved nickname for each other, skiing trips to Vermont, along with traveling throughout here and abroad with Gus and friends and a passion for the Italian cooking that brought us together around the table.

Marie was predeceased by her late husband Gus of over 60 years, this past December, her sister Lorraine Agruire Rich, brother Richard Rich and sister-in-law Lillian C. Potter, nephews Mike Levay and Gary Pastuszak Jr.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law Dorothy C. Batemen of Milford, her nieces and nephews; Mark Rich, Donna (Rich) Bamford, Amanda Fraunfeler, Michelle (Levey) Passeck, Robert Potter, II, Lisa (Potter) Roy and many great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Kathy Henderson, caretaker and friend to both Marie and Gus for many years.
