Marie L. Carr

Marie Carr, a lifelong resident of Stamford Connecticut died on December 6, 2021 at the age of 95. She was the daughter of Theron & Lena Carr. Marie worked many years for the City of Stamford, Bureau of Sanitation. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Ellen Santoro, Ann Taylor, Shirley Gillick, Agnes Coleman, and a brother, John Gillick. She is survived by several nephews, nieces, grandnephews & nieces, as well as great-grand nephews and nieces. Calling hours will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at The Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist, 279 Atlantic Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien.
