Martha Flora Tirado entered eternal rest on June 4th after a brave battle with cancer. She was born on July 29 1943 in Piura, Peru to the late Juan de Dios and Maria Josefa Tirado. She now joins her predeceased brothers Luis, Jose, and Jorge
Martha became a Stamford Resident in 1980. Martha spent her career as Nurse and Business Entrepreneur. She was a very loving and kind soul. A very religious person, Martha was a devoted parishioner and a member of multiple prayer groups throughout her community. She devoted her time and energy to many charitable organizations. Her memories will live on through his nephew Juan Carlos of Stamford, her sisters in law Elida, Julia and Luzmila in Peru, as well as multiple nephews and nieces in Peru and Spain and all her friends around the world.
Martha was, in the truest sense, everyone's favorite aunt, not because she tried , but because she could not help it. She always had open ears and a warm heart to comfort those around her. She remembered every birthday without a reminder, knew every family secret without being told.
Martha will never be forgotten.
A visitation service will be held at Lacerenza Macari Funeral Home on June 17th at 9:00am till 11am. A funeral mass will follow at St. Mary's Church on Elm St. in Stamford at 11:30am.
