MaryLouise Dulemba

MaryLouise D'Andrea Dulemba, 92, a lifelong resident of Stamford, CT, entered eternal rest with her Lord Jesus on September 24, 2026.

MaryLouise was born on July 3, 1934, the daughter of the late Anthony and Assunta (Susie) Rosati D'Andrea. She graduated from Stamford High School. MaryLou worked for the Telephone Company and later with Graphic Color Plate until its closing in 1994.

MaryLou lived a life rooted in faith and family. She had a generous heart, a love of life, and a witty humor. She loved to travel visiting many places throughout the world. Marylou selflessly helped her widowed sister, Chickie, raise her six young children, offering them endless love, guidance, and generosity. She carried that same joy and giving spirit throughout her life, showering all her nieces, nephews (great and great-great) with love and a deep desire to be part of their lives.

A lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, MaryLou shared her gift of service as a member of the Choir, Rosary Society, and a dedicated Lector until her passing. She also enjoyed the fellowship and community of the St Leo Parish Senior Group.

MaryLouise is survived by her husband of 22 years, Edward J. Dulemba, who lovingly referred to her as his "Sweetie."

She is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, including Christopher Pavia (Margaret), Peter Pavia (Naomi), Kathy Pavia; Stephen Pavia (Maria), Reverend Nicholas Pavia; Susan D'Andrea; Elise Tomas (Tony), Gary D'Andrea, Mark D'Andrea (Joann), Jeffrey D'Andrea (Eileen), Mary Murphy (Tom) and Karen D'Andrea,

She is also survived by Edward's children, Laurie Novakowski (Rick), Edward J. Dulemba III; and Linda Shelton (Michael), as well her Sister-in-law Elaine D'Andrea and many great nieces-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

MaryLouise was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony "Junie" D'Andrea and Rocco D'Andrea; her sister, Chickie Pavia; nephews Thomas Pavia and Anthony G D'Andrea; and niece Andrea Pavia.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 1, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery in Darien, CT.
