Michael Bitetto

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Michael Bitetto, who entered eternal rest on December 21, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on December 18, 1939, in Gravina, Italy, Michael later immigrated to the United States in the 1960s, where he built a life rooted in hard work, dedication, and family.

Michael worked as a Project Manager for Sansone/Giancola Construction and as an Controller at Messina, Ceci, Archer & Company, P.C. He also had a deep love for cooking, which he enjoyed sharing with those closest to him.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Rose Marie Bitetto (Messanelli); his brother, Angelo Bitetto; and his first cousin, Rosita Zappatore. He was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Bitetto, and his parents, Pasquale Bitetto and Angelina DiPierro.

A Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT, at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien CT.
