Roland Thomasset

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roland Adrien Charles Thomasset, who left us on January 1, 2026. Born on January 18, 1929, in the vibrant city of Paris, France, Roland lived a rich and full life, ultimately making his home in Stamford, CT.

Roland was not just any guy; he was a passionate photographer who saw the world through a unique lens. His love for capturing moments and the beauty around him brought joy to many and filled his life with creativity.

Before he became the distinguished photographer we knew, Roland proudly served his country in the Army, a testament to his commitment and dedication. After his time in service, he made a life for himself and his family, including his beloved spouse, Jocelyne Feijan, who stood by his side through thick and thin.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 9, 2026 from 10:30-12:30pm at Lacerenza Macari Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue Stamford, CT 06902. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate his life and the memories he created.
