Shariq Bryant

Shariq Matthew Bryant beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend was born on September 28, 1998 in the Bronx New York at Our Lady Of Mercy to parents Kerry Ann Tomlinson and Clive Bryant. Shariq transitioned from this life on December 06, 2025 at the age of 27 in Bronx New York. Shariq is survived by both parents, his siblings Mekhi Johnson and Ivan Stephens Jr., his aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family , girlfriend and all who loved him deeply.
Shariq attended a public Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science (known as AMS II) in Bronx New York where he graduated with a High School Diploma. Following High School he went on to taking college courses at Staten Island University where he earned some college credits. Shariq moved on and invested his knowledge into Coding. Shariqs knowledge of coding brought him his passion in the world of Information Technology. He was also known for his business mindset and took on many business ventures.
Shariq was known for his warm smile and generous heart, he touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His unwavering faith and prayer life was a guiding light to his family and community. If anyone was asked to describe Shariq it would be: selfless, kind hearted, loving, humble, funny and unforgettable. Shariq's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Shariq enjoyed traveling, boxing, trying new restaurants (especially steakhouses), going to the gym and socializing with friends and family on any occasion. Shariq never skipped a beat when it came to supporting and encouraging others.
Though his life with us was far too short, Shariq's life was meaningful and filled with love. He will forever be remembered and always in our hearts. Quoted from a very good friend of Shariq "His legacy will never die".
Family and friends will be received at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 for Viewing from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, Funeral Services will be from 11:00 am to 12 pm, followed by burial at 12:30 pm, Woodland Cemetery, 66 Woodland Place, Stamford, CT
